Pacific Palisades
Once this area was a sleepy little burg with a theater, a hot dog stand and a hardware store. Today it is one of the most sought after neighborhoods on the westside. It is a family oriented group that still has a Fourth of July parade down Sunset Blvd. every year. This is where the neighbors and store owners as well as the local politicians come together to celebrate. The Riviera is a gorgeous area with large homes and estates that overlook the Riviera Golf Club, the Santa Monica mountains or the Pacific Ocean. Closer to town you have the Huntington Palisades where you and your kids can walk to the Palisades Park, the local library, cafes and supermarkets. It feels as provincial as it did 50 years ago. You will probably meet someone that grew up there and is now a parent or grandparent….you just don’t ever want to move away.
